Owen is off to college and being on his own for the first time. He is gay and out, a good student and the only thing missing is his best friend Ashley who was supposed to come to college with him. When he gets to the school he finds protesters outside his dorm, the Prince of Hell, Zarmenus, is a student this semester, part of an exchange with the human race. Owen soon learns they are also roommates. Things don’t get off to a great start, Zarmenus, who is gay, brings home random guys every night, is a slob and has a chip on his shoulder. Slowly they work through their issues and find common ground. To clean up his image, Owen and Zarmenus decide to fake date and they become a hit with everyone. Well, you know how these things go. They both like each other too much but are afraid to admit it. Zar is only here for this semester and they will have to break up soon but can they really do it when they have feelings for each other? This is the feel-good book of the fall and one of the best this year. It’s well-written with LOL moments, magic, ghouls in the mirror, a magical cat and two hot young guys who fall for each other and learn a lot along the way.
