Taylor Bassey takes her brother Jude to Cape Cod for a relaxing vacation to get away from it all. When they get to the house, she finds peep holes in the ceiling and a dead body in the laundry room, so the trip is not off to a good start. The body belongs to the owner of the house, and the two end up in the house across the street. Myles Sumner is a bounty hunter/slash investigator, who is hired by the late brother’s sister to find out who killed her brother. He is a loner, gruff, rude, and hot to Taylor, who insists on helping solve the case. There’s an immediate attraction between the two, and they soon have hot sex, which blows both of their minds. They agree to keep it casual, but you know how that goes; he doesn’t do relationships and is still reeling from something that happened three years ago. When he solves the murder, he still has to solve his heart. This is another incredible hot, sexy rom-com from author Tessa Bailey. The chemistry and sex between Taylor and Myles is off the hook. This is a great summer beach read.
