Sofia, who lives in the Phoenix area, has been fired from her job after she called out a male co-worker who stole her work. Out of a job and drunk, she posts a video to TikTok about how men have stolen women’s work throughout history. It goes viral, and now she has a new source of income; she posts historical videos of women who have been robbed over the years. She also meets a mysterious man on the platform who posts on her page. They get to talking and maybe doing a live video one day. His name is Alex, and he is hot, and it turns out he is dating her best friend, Caitlin, who lives in New York and is always away on business. Alex just moved here, and Sofia is shocked to see him with Caitlin when she comes to town. Soon, Sofia and Alex start hanging out a lot, she starts to have thoughts about him, and they end up having hot sex, and she worries how it will affect her friendship with Caitlin, until she learns a shocking secret, and it could end things with Alex before they even start. This is a hot, sexy novel, with two characters that have hot chemistry oozing off the pages. This is another great rom-com and a perfect late summer beach read.
