Mrs. Blossom has been a widow for ten years now. She went to work assisting a P.I. for a while and just recently she found a lottery ticket in the parking lot and it won her 8 million dollars. She decides to move back to Baltimore and to take a cruise in France with her best friend. When she gets to the airport early, she gets an upgrade on her plane and meets a man named Allan, who helps her out with the plane and when they get to London she misses her connection to Paris. In Paris, she meets a man named Danny who takes her shopping before her cruise. Then she learns Allan is dead in Paris, which is suspicious since he was supposed to be in London. She is warned by Danny that she may be in danger, Allan was involved in something shady and people may think she has something that he had. On the ship she is shocked to find Danny, her room is trashed and people are not who they say they are and Mrs. Blossom finds her life in danger. This is a fun character-driven novel. Mrs. Blossom is one of the best characters all year in books and this trip is one that keeps you engaged reading along. Hopefully there will be more novels with this character.
