Book Review: ‘Murder Most Royal: A Queen Elizabeth Investigates Novel’ By S.J. Bennett

It’s Christmas time in 2016 and Queen Elizabeth is excited to be going to her castle in Sandringham to celebrate with most of her family, William and Kate (and kids) will not be attending. Then things take a deadly turn when a hand is found on the beach near the castle. When the police arrive to fill her in, she recognizes the ring on the hand, and is able to give them the name of the dead person. Now the Queen is intrigued and puts her trusty assistant, Rozie, on the case, and she as well does some digging. They find buried secrets, and soon help solve the case. While not investigating, we are treated to scenes of Elizabeth with her horses, her family, and staff, I would love to imagine the way this book is written is how she was in real life. These books are so much fun, and must be read.

You can pick up Murder Most Royal in stores on Tuesday, September 26th from William Morrow.
