Holkes Folly, NC is the setting for book number 2 in the Antique Bookshop Mystery series by Laura Gail Black. A small town setting, with quirky characters, highlights this next adventure of murder and is fun to read. For Jenna Quinn she’s re-named and designed the bookstore left for her by her late Uncle Paul. It’s time to re-introduce the antique bookstore Twice Upon A Time, with a party for the who is who of the town. But things don’t go according to plans when Linus Talbot ends up dead and Jenna takes in his cute dog Eddy. Soon Jenna, his employee Mason and her best friend Rita are on the case, determined to find who killed Linus. Of course someone doesn’t want them to investigate but that doesn’t stop them.

You can pick up Murder By The Bookend in stores on Tuesday, September 7th from Crooked Lane.
