Tory Van Dyne is part of her rich family, who come from old money, but she is down to earth. She owns the Manhattan Mystery Guild Library, which has a room dedicated to Agatha Christie. On this day she finds a woman in the room who claims to be Agatha herself, but that’s impossible since Agatha has been dead for a long time, yet everything about her says she is Agatha. She even predicts that Tory will be involved in a murder mystery soon. Then her cousin Nicola shows up and tells her that her talent agent has been killed, pushed into the subway, into an oncoming train. Tory, Nicola, one of Tory’s co-workers, a young computer expert and an NYPD detective start meeting on Monday afternoons and discuss the case, and when more murders take place, they compare facts and together they figure out what’s going on. This is an excellent, unique, fun novel, with Agatha showing up and helping solve the case. The supporting characters are a hoot and I only hope there will be more novels with all these people.
