Author Catherine Steadman is back with her newest psychological thriller Mr. Nobody. A man is found on the beach and the police are called. The man has no memories of who he is or how he got there. He has no ID and no one knows who he is and he isn’t talking.

In London Dr. Emma Lewis, neuropsychiatrist receives a call from a colleague in America named Richard Groves, who was asked to come work on the case. He is unable to and recommended Emma. For her it would mean returning to where she grew up and left 14 years ago when something bad happened. She has a new name now and going back could call attention to her and what happened then.

But this is the chance for her to make a name for herself working with Mr. Nobody (as he has been nick-mamed) but not is being called Matthew. The story soon breaks in the news about him and the hospital is swamped. And Matthew seems to know Emma by her real name. He doesn’t remember much else. And soon Emma’s past comes back to haunt her when her real name and story comes out once again.

Emma takes him out of the hospital to various places to try and jog his memory. She learns a shocking secret about him but not all is what it seems and soon she learns the shocking truth about him and it could cost her everything.

A gripping story right from the beginning with Mr. Nobody on the beach and the story never lets up. Twists and turns throughout the story until the climatic reveal and lives in the balance. You won’t want to put the book down.

You can pick up Mr. Nobody in stores on Tuesday, January 7th from Random House.
