Book Review: ‘Mom Com: A Novel’ By Adriana Mather

Maddie left Haverberry Cove, MA. ten years ago, to have her son and start a new life, and has barely been back since. She’s on her way there now for Christmas, and to get new details of the will of her late father, who passed away a year ago. It also might mean running into Wilder, the man who broke hear heart all those years ago. She had hoped to be married to him, and together they would run her father’s bakery. The new terms of the will leave his bakery to Maddie, and to Wilder equally, and for one year they have to work together, or else one or both forfeit their shares. For Maddie, this is a slap in the face, and she’s not sure what she will do about this. Being this close to Wilder again brings back old memories for them both, and as they work together, they soon feel those old feelings, and it could be a second chance for them. This is a great rom-com, with two characters you root for, and want to be together. Fans of this genre will like this one.
