Noah Lennox is a veterinarian in Colorado and is returning home for a party to celebrate his grandfather’s retirement. He’s not much of a people person, is grumpy, and would just rather be around his animals. Along the way, he meets Eliose at a gas station and is mistaken for his twin brother, Chris, also a vet and social media star. She soon learns he wasn’t Chris; it’s a game the brothers sometimes play, being the other brother. When his grandfather announces he is leaving their family farm, Silver Bells, and it will most likely go to his cousin, Stephen, whom he can’t stand, Noah decides he wants the farm. With the help of Eliose, who has her own PR firm, she enters him in the town’s Mr. Holiday pageant, and works with him to make him a star, and to get him out of his comfort zone. They soon fall for each other, have hot sex, and learn Stephen is up to no good. The problem is Noah is heading back to his vet clinic after the holidays, and it means saying goodbye to Eliose, or does it? This is a delightful Christmas rom-com, with two characters you root for to be together. The holiday setting, the small town, and the supporting cast of characters, including a dog and horses, will put a smile on your face. A perfect book to read for the upcoming holidays.
