Book six continues the great Lady Sherlock series and this time she could be in a lot of trouble. Excellently written and solid characters highlight this new novel. Lady Charlotte Sherlock acts as an oracle for her ‘brother’ Sherlock Holmes. A new client has scheduled an appointment with Sherlock, at 18 Upper Baker Street. Mr. Baker arrives and Charlotte knows it’s her nemesiss Moriarty. He has come to ask for help in finding his missing daughter, Marguerite, who has fallen to a cult in Cornwall. She confers with Lord Ash and soon she and Mrs. Watson are on the case. As they investigate Charlotte can’t help but wonder why she was hired for this case by Moriarty, does he really want to find his daughter or is it some sort of set-up for Charlotte Holmes? On a side note things are heating up nicely between Charlotte and Lord Ash. If you’ve been reading this series, you will enjoy this one.
You can pick up Miss Moriarty, I Presume? in stores on Tuesday, November 2nd from Berkley.
