Book Review: ‘Marple: Twelve New Mysterie Stories’ By Twelve Of The Biggest Authors Today

Twelve of the biggest authors writing today, Naomi Alderman, Leigh Bardugo, Alyssa Cole, Lucy Foley, Elly Griffiths, Natalie Haynes, Jean Kwok, Val McDermid, Karen M. McManus, Dreda Say Mitchell, Kate Mosse and Ruth Ware, all contribute to this new collection of short stories based on the Agatha Christie character Miss Marple. The last original novel of Miss Jane Marple was in 1976 and now each author has put their own spin on the character and it’s great. Set in various locations and situations, there’s a story for everyone, in this really well-written collection, that Agatha Christie would be happy with.
