It’s a return to the world of Briar Glenn for the third novel in the series. This one is focused on Pam, the mother of Reece and Tegan from previous books. She lost her husband, Don, two years ago, and has pretty much been a loner over these years, living with her cat, Remi. When Tegan suggests she get on a dating app, Pam decides why not. She sets up a profile and sees a man named Alistair, a hot minotaur, and connects with him. He is in town taking care of his sick daughter, and is leaving in a few days. They meet up the next day, have some hot sex, and spend the day together. They decide to try a long-distance relationship, since he lives near Denver. They have lots of steamy chats and videos, and she goes to visit him for a week. They have a great week, filled with romance, sex, and fun times. He has an offer to be bought out of his company, and needs to decide what he wants. When Pam leaves, it seems the decision might be made for him. This is the third novel in this series, and it’s another great one. The characters, the story, and the hot sex make for a good read.
