Quinn & Costa go undercover as a married couple at a Florida resort where three newlywed couples have vanished and were later found dead. When they sniff their breakfast order, they smell something funny and pretend to be drugged. A man, Garrett Reid, shows up to allegedly grab their bodies and the FBI rushes in and arrests him. Thinking they have their man, the two spend the rest of the weekend at the resort, only to vanish on Sunday morning. Turns out Reid was working with someone, and now the two are trapped in a dangerous building with booby-traps everywhere. A massive search is undertaken, a lot of people are interviewed, and Quinn & Costa are fighting for their lives. This is the seventh novel in the series and it’s another thrilling one. Fans of the series, and new readers will not be able to put this one down. Author Allison Brennan has outdone herself once again.
