Book Review: ‘M.C. Beaton Devil’s Delight: An Agatha Raisin Novel’ With R.W. Green

Agatha Raisin and her assistant Toni are on the way to the wedding of their friends Bill and Alice, when a naked man named Edward flags them down and tells them he has just seen a dead man. They learn that there is a nudist colony there and go to check on the body, which is missing. Agatha is determined to find the dead man and figure out what happened to him, much to the chagrin of Wilkes, a detective with police department, who hates Agatha. Toni decides to go undercover (naked) at the colony to see what she can find out. There’s two other cases being worked on and Agatha is getting threatening messages to back off. She soon figures out who is responsible for the murder and who has been harrassing her, but it may be too late to save Toni, who is in danger. Agatha’s love life is out of control again as well with James, her ex-husband, Sit Charles, a detective named John and Antonio. The book has the signature snarky, lol moments we love about this series. Authot R.W. Green has done another great job with his second novel since the death of M.C. Beaton. Fans of the series will be happy.

You can pick up Devil’s Delight in stores on Tuesday, December 13th from Minotaur Books.
