The Demon is a paranormal TV show and has a problem behind the scenes. A director is caught in a scandal and fired and producers bring in Cali Daniels, a director on the upswing to direct the next show in the series, which includes a hot sex scene. She finds things on the set frosty toward her, especially the DP, director of photography, Jory Blair, who is also hot. They clash on almost everything she wants to try. He also has a health scare and wants to move up to being a director and resents Cali being there. There’s a big attraction between the two of them and they soon act on it, with some hot sex scenes, and things seem to be calm on the set. They have an agreement the sex will only last until this episode is finished filming, but they both fall for each other. After a misunderstanding, this relationship could be over before it has a chance to go anywhere. This is a fun rom-com, with a great setting with the TV series being shot. You root for these two characters to be together. A great debut novel from author Stark.
