Book Review: ‘Love Buzz: A Novel’ By Neely Tubati Alexander

Serena Khan is in New Orleans for a bachelorette party, that she can’t afford, and doesn’t really want to be at. She used to be best friends with the bride to be, but is just now am estranged cousin at this point. Then she meets Julian, and her night changes. It’s like he’s the one, even though she has a boyfriend, he makes her feel things, as does he. But they both have to leave, and it seems like it wasn’t meant to be. She can’t stop thinking about him, and because he’s from the same are she is, she searches for him, but doesn’t have much to go on. She decides to blow her life up, quit her job, dump her boyfriend, and find Julian, but a misunderstanding, could derail those plans as well. Until fate brings them together at the most unusual time, and they may have a chance after all. This is an absolutely fun rom-com, with interesting, quirky characters, and two people you root for to be together. It doesn’t get better than this.
