El Martin is a social media influencer who is out shooting content, and when she is leaving, claims to have seen a UFO, which she broadcast live. It causes all sorts of problems with her brand and her influencer friends whom she lives with. Agent Carter Brody, who works for the Private Intelligence Sector, sees the content and thinks it looks similar to what he saw years ago when his father was killed in a car accident. He gets permission from his boss, Marcus, who was his dad’s best friend and partner, who also raised him, after his father’s death, to check out El and her story. She spots him and when he tells her who he is, agrees to work with him. As they investigate and get close, they find things are not what they should be, and Marcus is involved with something illegal, and that’s why his father died. Now he has to find that proof. El and Carter also fall for each other, start having hot sex and find their lives in danger, and it leads to a shocking showdown. This is a fun and unique spy rom-com, with two characters you enjoy watching fall in love and some fun supporting characters. Another in a long line of good summer novels.
