The year is 2005 and Joe Greenery is attending college at Cambridge University and dreams of being a famous poet one day. He’s struggling with his writing and his classes. While at a coffee shop he meets Esi, who is a time-traveler, from the year 2044 and she’s here to see him and to try and change her past (or her future). In Esi’s time, Joe is a famous poet and is with a hot actress named Diana. She also has a book from her time, which Joe takes and he learns all about his future. He asks her for help in making things with Diana work out now and in exchange he will help her with what she has come for. In the process of getting with Diana, he and Esi fall for each other, but she has to return to her time. Will they find a way to change their futures or pasts and be together? Fans of time-traveling novels with romances will enjoy this one. There’s a side story with Rob’s roommate that I found very amusing, and helps the story move along.
