Quinn Cutheridge hasn’t talked to her aunt Cora in eight years, since she was kicked out of her house, in Wonderland, Wyoming. Today she gets a call from Hunter Lemming, who is Cora’s hand at her house and ranch, and tells Quinn that Cora has gone missing, and she needs to come home and find her, since she’s a private investigator. When Quinn gets there, she finds Hunter very standoffish with her, and Cora starts investigating, with very little luck. Seems people don’t want her looking for Cora, and she soon learns it may have something to do with a dead girl, and a missing girl from years ago, which involve the local, powerful Coldwater family. When Quinn figures out a clue, it leads to shocking reveals for her and her life, a twist she never saw coming, nor does the reader. This is an intense thriller, with love stories as well, and keeps you reading along. The reveal is a clever one, and fans of these kinds of novels will enjoy this one.
