Book Review: ‘Long Overdue At The Lakeside Library: A Lakeside Library Mystery’ By Holly Danvers

A fun second book in her library mystery series, set in a small Wisconsin town with quirky, fun characters and a ice-fishing murder mystery, that is easy to read along with. Rain Wilmot has decided to make Lofty Pines, Wisconsin her home now, for at least another year. She’s keeping the library open year round now and has made a few improvements. Wallace Benson has stopped in looking for cook books to participate in the big winter ice fishing contest and chili dump. The next day at the event Wallace is found murdered and Rain’s friend Nick is the prime suspect, as he has a cut on his hand and seen talking to him before he died and a knife found in his tackle box. Rain is soon on the case to find the real killer and of course this puts her in danger as somone doesn’t want to be found out.
