He had found his real dad, and went to see him, and it didn’t go so well. Joey brings the phone, and it rings, and it’s Evan’s niece asking him to help find her missing dog. Evan is on the hunt for the dog, and it leads him into the crosshairs of a killer, known only as the Wolf, who has killed a Dr. and wounded his 17-year-old daughter, who Evan gets to safety, and now is keeping an eye on. It now becomes a game of cat and mouse between the two, and Evan is determined to find out who hired her and why, and stop her. I can’t believe this is the ninth book in the series, seems like just yesterday I read the first one, and they’re as good now as the first one. Everything you want in one of these books is here.
