Tommy, Malcolm, Henry and Kevin were best friends 30 years ago, until something happened one night, and tore the friendship apart. Today Tommy learns that Kevin has died, and his wake if coming up, and he contacts the other three to let them know. They all attend the wake, and it stirs up memories of that night years ago, especially when Naomi, Kevin’s wife, makes remarks, and they figure she knows what happened, and worse she’s a reporter. She starts making their already crazy lives worse, they each have family issues, by making demands, calling their wives, and the three of them try to figure out what do about her before it’s too late, and the awful secret of that night comes out. A tense psychological thriller, that clearly defines the characters, what happened and where they all stand today. It’s one that starts out strong and keeps going. Fans of these kinds of novels will enjoy this one.
