Sarah Booth Delaney and Tinkie have no cases right now, and are enjoying some downtime. With a movie filming in Greenville, MS, the area is a web of excitement, and Tinkie’s daughter might even get a part. The movie is being helmed by Marlon Brandon, the Grandson of the former six time Senator of the state, and two people are making problems for the movie, they don’t want it made. Then a crew member goes missing and Sarah and Tinkie are hired to find him, and then Marlon goes missing, and they are hired to try and find him as well. Everything seems to point to the Mississippi River, where a shark has been spotted, and in 1927 a flood caused a major issue, and it seems maybe someone doesn’t want that being rehashed. Along with her dog and cat, and the ghost Jetti, Sarah will do what she has to do to solve this mystery. Book number 27 is another fun novel in the series. These is fun to read, and with the animals, and ghost, they’res usually some good LOL moments. Fans of the series will like this one.
