Raine is making her way through Europe playing music where she can, and is now in Cobb, Ireland, where she has her guitar and other things stolen. She still has some money, her passport, and her phone. She heads into Locals pub where she meets a good-looking man named Jack. He asks her about the pub, and she gives her honest opinion, it needs an overhaul, not knowing he owns it with his brother Ollie. He offers her a job to help do just that. There is an immediate attraction between the two of them. Jack is worried how she might handle his OCD, and she’s worrying how he will handle her ADHD, but they hit it off, and she makes changes, and they fall for each other, knowing she will be leaving soon, and have to figure out what it is they truly want. With a fun supporting cast of characters, including a cute cat named Sebastian, this is a truly fun, sexy rom-com, that handles both characters conditions in a positive manner. You get invested in them, and root for them. This just might make my top books of 2024.
