Book Review: ‘Lady of Bones: A Sarah Booth Delaney Novel’ By Carolyn Haines

The 24th novel in the series finds Sarah Booth off to New Orleans to help find the daughter of an old friend of her mother’s named Frankie. Christa is working on a news story to get a scholarship and vanished two days ago, as did her roommate. With Tinkie not able to help, since her daughter was just born, Coleman goes with Sarah to New Orleans to start the investigation. It looks like Christa was investigating a cult, People Of Eternity and found that a woman has vanished for each Halloween over the last five years. They’re not having much luck finding them and someone is not happy about them asking questions. Sarah soon finds herself in a whole of trouble as Halloween fast approaches and will need to use everything she knows and has learned over the years in order to survice this one. Another great novel in the series that also includes ghosts and the New Orleans scene, well written about. Fans of the series will be satisfied.

You can pick up Lady Of Bones in stores on Tuesday, June 14th from Minotaur Books.
