Book Review: ‘Kiss Me, Mi Amor: A Novel’ By Alana Quintana Albertson

Carolina Flores is a first generation Mexican American, who is one of the top female farmers in the country, owning her own farm. She also has an old-fashioned father, who will not let her sisters date until she does. When Enrique Montez, the heir to the Taco King empire, comes into the pictures, they make a deal to fake date, he also hopes to get a deal with her farm. They keep this pretense up, and you know where this will go. They end up having feelings for each other, but things in their lives are messy, and falling in love is not in the plan. Will they overcome their fears and give into the feelings? A fun story to follow along with, with supporting characters that make the novel. Also, be prepared to be hungry for tacos as you read the story. A perfect beach read.
