Natalie Temple has always been fascinated by murder and crime mysteries. She has here own crime podcast with her friend Katie and works as an intern at the local paper. But her mother is over-protective and bans her from just about anything fun and to stay away from murder and crimes. She lives in a small town named Ferry in Connecticut. She’s a few months away from going to college and freedom. She works at the diner her mother owns and lives with her at home. Then a murder takes place in town. One of her teachers has been found dead in her house and the police are investigating. This gets Natalie excited and she decides to investigate it on her own and use whatever she finds for her next podcast. She will soon learn this small town has beg secrets that will be revealed as well as her mother’s secret, shocking past. As Natalie learns the truths, it also puts her life in danger and reveals twists and turns. A fun thriller that is easy to read and follow along with. The relationships of the characters plays heavy into the plot and with the well time twists, makes for an enjoyable read.
