Michelle Oxford is director of operations for the LA Aces. She was a soccer player herself before a career-ending injury. Tristan Gold is the hunky goalie for the team, and there has always been an attraction between them. When she loses a bet to him, she must hang out with him, and he will teach her how to unwind. The more time they spend together, the deeper the attraction and friendship grows. Michelle is worried about her job, but they finally give in to passion, and have hot sex (with some steamy scenes), and she wants to keep it casual, he does not, but agrees to do it, until they decide they’re in love and have to figure out where their relationship will go. This is a good end-of-summer rom-com, with two lead characters you root for to be together. Beward you may just need a cold shower after reading this.
