Book Review: ‘Just Haven’t Met You Yet: A Novel’ By Sophie Cousens

Lifestyle reporter Laura is wanting to meet Mr. Right but isn’t sure if/when this might happen. At work she has a tough boss that is always looking for outside the box ideas. When she pitches a story about her parents love story, a coin and living in the Channel islands, her boss loves it and she’s off to Jersey and to write her story and see her family. As she leaves the airport she grabs the wrong bag, it belongs to some man. As she looks through it she sees they have things and common and thinks this could be the one. She hires cab-driver Ted to show her around the island and he’s a really nice guy and they become friends. There’s an attraction with them but she soon meets ‘suitecase man’ they have a lot in common and they start hanging out. She thinks he might be the one but then she looks at Ted and thinks he is the actual one for her and she has a big decision to make, as her boss is on the island to film and she has a big decision to make about her personal and professional live. A heart-warming rom-com about finding love in mysterious ways. It’s a heart-warming story with well-written characters that you root for to be together.
