Jane and Dan are celebrating their 20th anniversary and decide to go to a different, more expensive restaurant. Jane is not very happy, her teenage kids don’t need her anymore, she thinks Dan is cheating on her and her novel bombed. She tells Dan they should get a divorce and before he can respond, a group of masked climate activists storm the restaurant looking for a billionaire who is on his way to meet his wife. Jane suddenly realizes that everything this group is doing and saying is from her failed book and they both recognize one of them. Jane and Dan figure out that they know how this might go since it’s based on the book and may be the only ones to stop this and this might be the thing to save their marriage. This is another great novel by author Colleen Oakley, who never disappoints. An original plot, with twists and turns, keeps you engaged in this novel.
