Kat Malone needs money and a job, after losing hers and having a bad breakup. She gets a job at Resistance Brewpub, a neighborhood bar, as a waitress. When the bar gets sold, and Ryan the son of the owner, who has no experience, is put in charge, life for Kat becomes rough, and he won’t consider her for the position. She was promised a chance to become a brewer, but Ryan has other ideas for the bar, and wants to turn it into a sports bar. They have a love/hate relationship going on, but it soon turns to love, and you how that goes. The bar is not doing well financially, and the two have them have a lot of work to turn it around. They have to figure out how to fix things personally and professionally. This is a fun r0m-com, with two well-written characters, that you root for to make things work. Fans of this kind of novel will be happy with this one. It’s in stores on Tuesday, April 9th from Crooked Lane.
