On a train from Florence to Paris, Eva and Jonathan hook up and have hot sex, even though he is bleeding and has a bullet in his chest. They’re both contract killers and neither one knows it about the other, and when the train arrives they go their separate ways, but can’t stop thinking about each other. Six months later, they run into each other in Versailles and spend time together. What he doesn’t know is that she has been assigned to kill him…what she doesn’t know is that soon after that he’s assigned to kill her. It reaches a stand-off when they have a showdown and admit how they feel about each other. They decide to team up to find out who is after them before they’re both taken out for good. This is a fun, well-written novel, with two great characters, a hot sexual attraction, hot sex and a story that you don’t want to put down. This is one of the best books of the year!
