Book Review: ‘Into The Mist: A Novel’ By P.C. Cast

Four teachers, Mercury, Karen, Stella and Imani, are heading back from a conference in Oregon and are on the highway home when they see explosions light up the night. They also see a green mist and duck down to try to avoid it. And then people are suddenly dying, mostly men. They go back to where the conference was and find survivors, mostly women and figure out this mist only seems to kill men. Some of the women also discover that their blood has special powers. As they leave to find a new place, they are met with evil men and people that they can’t trust. Everything is a struggle until they find what they think is their new home. But is it really and what does the future hold for them? We have to wait for the next book to find out. Hints are dropped as to things that are to come. If you like supernatural mysteries, this is the book for you. By the time you finish it you have a lot of questions than answers and the next book comes out 2023 to get them.

You can pick up Into The Mist in stores on Tuesday, July 12th from Crooked Lane.
