The murder of a beachcomber, Lewis Trenton, shakes the small Oregon town and once again the ladies of the Misty Bay Tea Room are involved in helping to solve the case. Vivian Wainwright notices a picture of something found in an article sparks something in Vivian and she beings to investigate. She tracks down a hidden jewel involved in a heist a month ago and gives to detective Tony Messina and it is thought he might have been a fence and double-crossed someone. And for Vivian asking too many questions could be quite deadly for her. A solid follow-up to the first novel. If you’re a fan of small-town murder mysteries, with quirky characters, this is perfect for you.

You can pick up In Too Steep in stores on Tuesday, August 9th from Crooked Lane.
