Jack Reacher wakes up handcuffed to a table (both arms and legs), with no memory of how he got there and one of his arms broken. That’s the bad news for whoever has him, when he wakes up one of his captors is there, and Jack overpowers him and soon gets caught up in an art forgery scheme, that turns out to be so much more. He can’t let it go and soon teams up with a cop on leave, who has a vendetta against one of the members of the bad guy’s team, and they slowly learn what is going on. Thinking the case is over, they make plans to move along their separate ways, only to find out that it’s not, the FBI is on the scene, and Reacher has to go to great lengths to get this situation over and done with. This is another exciting, fast-paced Reacher novel, with everything you expect, Jack beating people up and getting out of dangerous situations. If you’re a fan of the series you will be happy with this one.
