Book Review: ‘In A Holidaze’ Is A Delightful Christmas Novel From Christina Lauren

It’s Christmas time and that means one thing. It’s time to go the cabin in Utah with her family and their close friends. For Maelyn Jones is the happiest time. She looks forward to this every year. And it also means seeing Andrew, the man she has loved since she was 13. He has never looked at her like that and on the night before they are to leave she gets drunk with his brother Theo and they make out and Andrew has seen this. Then on the day they leave it is announced the cabin is going up for sale and this will be the last year here for this get together.

As Mae, her brother Miles and their parents head for the airport, Mae is thinking please show me what will make me happy. For Mae it would be the cabin and Andrew. Then they’re involved in a car accident and everything goes dark. Next thing Mae knows she’s on the plane with her family and they are headed to Maine to start the Christmas holiday. She can’t figure out what is going on but she relives this a few times. Each time she does things a little different and it will hopefully prove to her what will make her happy. And she hopes it might be Andrew and the cabin that will end this time loop once and for all.

a delightful holiday novel where you follow Mae on this adventure and root for her to find her happiness. If you are a fan of the movie Groundhog Day, you will enjoy this holiday rom-com.
