Summer and Parker have been friends since they were three years old, and now, as they approach 30, they remain best friends. Each is still looking for that perfect someone, as all their friends and family are coupled up and happy. They decide to try and fix each other up with what they think are good matches, except Parker forgets and at the last minute finds a guy and barely vets him. Summer hits it off with him, until Parker finds out he is engaged to another woman and publicly outs the guy, causing Summer to be embarrassed. She is furious with Parker, who does everything he can to get her to forgive him. While they are estranged, he finally figures out that he is madly in love with Summer and has to win back her friendship and also confess his feelings. They end up having hot, steamy sex and fall for each other, until a secret Summer has been keeping could break them up. This is a hot, sexy (with some really explicit sex scenes), well-written rom-com. You root for Summer and Parker to be together and watch as they fall for each other. It’s only February and this will be one of the best rom-coms this year.
