Book Review: ‘How The Murder Crumbles: A Cookie Shop Mystery’ By Debra Sennefelder

Mallory Monroe now lives in Connecticut, and has bought her late aunt’s cookie shop. She has a run it with Beatrice Wright, who accuses her of stealing one of her cookie recipes, like her aunt did. Mallory says she did not, and it belonged to her aunt, and they have a heated argument, in front of a lot of people, including a police detective. When Mallory goes to talk to Beatrice at her home that night, she finds her dead, and she is the prime suspect, and when more bodies are found, Mallory decides to investigate on her own, and it puts her in danger as well. This is a great start to this new series. Fans of small-town murder mysteries, quirky, fun characters, will like this one. A perfect beach read.
