The third novel in the Alice Vega series is another thrilling ride from the very start to the end. The character of Alice is really well-written and hopefully more to come with her. Private eye Alice Vega is very good at finding people and she’s hired to find someone that’s been missing since 1984, a former college football kicker named Zeb Williams. He’s know for not kicking an extra point and running to the opposite goal and then running out of the stadium. A wealthy man named Anton Fohl has hired Alice to find him for his wife, his last know girlfriend. Her investigation takes her to the small town in Oregon, where she meets with the last known woman to see Zeb. Not everything in this town is right and Alice soon finds herself in danger. Her partner Cap is helping from home but he has his own issues and things come to a boiling point for Alice and Cap. Fans will eat this book up.

You can pick up Hideout in stores on Tuesday, March 8th from Doubleday.
