Katherine Cole is 22 and has had a rough life growing up. She works now as a waitress at an exclusive club for the rich and famous. Her lawyer, Tarun, isn’t sure if she is guilty and begins her defense preparation. The story follows five people in her life, her father John, a former lover, Conrad, her friend Gabriel and a journalist Max and her lawyer. Each chapter is devoted to one of these characters and what they know of Katherine and her life. We follow through the trial and we learn if Katherine is guilty or not. This is a uniquely written novel with the story following each of these characters. It is engaging and page-turning. This is one you do not want to miss.
