Faye Heron has made in Hollywood as a writer/director/actor, and producer. She returns to her former college after 12 years for the funeral of her mentor, Patrick Toner, known as PT. He died of a sudden heart attack. It also means she will probably run into her former boyfriend, the love of her life, Henry, with whom she had an intense sexual relationship, and then dumped him and moved to Hollywood. He tells her he is sorry, invites her for a drink, drugs her, and holds her captive, for reasons she does not understand. She slowly learns shocking secrets, is being blackmailed, and then the attraction between the two of them becomes too much, and they pick up their sexual lives like it never ended. Then a big twist takes place, and you will never see coming. A delightful tale of sex, murder, blackmail, and shocking secrets will keep you glued to this book. One of the best books of the summer.
