Book Review: ‘Haven Point: A Novel’ By Virginia Hume

Three women of the same family, three different time periods and they have one thing in common…Haven Point. Maren, her daughter Annie and granddaughter Skye have all had issues in their lifes and we follow along starting in 1944 with Maren up through 2008 and the things that happened to them over the years. From marriages, children, losses, scandals and shocking secrets all leading to Haven Point and what it holds for all three women.

A solid character driven story, with 3 women over multi years and we follow them and get invested with them emotionally as their stories unfold. A great summer read.

You can pick up Haven Point in stores on Tuesday, June 8th from St. Martin’s Press.
