Boneyard Key in Florida is considered one the most haunted places in America, and it’s where Cassie Rutherford has just bought a house. It’s not just any house, but Hawkins house, which has barely been lived in for years, and it’s haunted by all accounts, by Sarah Hawkins. Nick Royer owns a local coffee shop, has a roommate named Elmer, who texts him all the time, and is a ghost, having died many years ago, and was the previous owner of the coffee shop at one point. They soon become close, but issues arise when Sarah starts communicating with Cassie, and won’t allow Nick in the house. After some digging about the house and the things Sarah is telling Cassie, she figures out what’s really going on, and has to come up with a way to fix things in this supernatural house. This is a fun, ghostly rom-com, that hits all the right notes. The lead characters, and the awesome supporting characters, make a really enjoyable book. Another great beach read.
