Whitney Golden is a social media influencer, who uses her whole familyas part of her brand, and has been very successful. She’s a widowed mother of four, and has a hot new boyfriend, that she’s slowly unveiling on her pages and it’s time to take pictures for the upcoming holiday. Mia is her 15-year-old daughter, and she’s now one of those teenagers that are hard to talk to or control. She’s had it with her mother using her and her brothers and sisters, and has decided to sue her mother for using her and making money off of her, and it could lead to who has what rights when it comes to social media. At its core, it’s about family, love and communication. This is the debut novel from author Quinn-Kong, and it makes you think about the effects of social media on people. It would make for a good book club discussion.
