She then learns of another fire in town, there’s been a few lately, and a man named Chester has died during the fire, he was murdered. She wants to write the obit for him but can’t find his last name and her cop boyfriend, Kip, won’t help her. She also hears from her reporter friend, Scoop, he is a suspect, he has a source that tells him about these fires and he won’t reveal it. She soon learns who the man is, and what he was doing and it involved burial plots. Soon someone is following Winter and Scoop is getting death threats. They may be getting too close to what is going on and their lives may be in danger. Another fun small-town murder mystery, with quirky supporting characters. Fans of these kinds of novels will enjoy this one.
