Ten years ago Anne Lee broke the heart of Frederick Nam, they were madly in love when she dumped him and left for Korea to become an actress, to save her family from financial ruin and never told him this. She found success and is now back in California with her family. The last thing she expected was to run into him and open up old feelings they both thought were gone. It also turns out they’re in the wedding party for her cousin’s wedding. He is cold to her each time they meet up, though he starts to warm up a little and when she tells him everything about why she left, things get better and they vow to be friends until things turn hot and heavy one night, they have hot sex and it confuses them even more. Neither one wants to admit their true feelings and when Anne gets a major movie deal, she has to go to London to shoot and Frederick decides to make a grand gesture and he hopes it will work. This book is awesome. You get emotionally invested in these two characters and want them to be together. With a great supporting cast of characters, this may be the romantic book of the summer.
