Boneyard Key, Florida, is the setting for the second novel in this series. Sophie has lived here her entire life and now runs a haunted ghost tour on Friday and Saturday nights. A man named Tristan has arrived in town, and Sadie meets him at the local bar after her tour. They flirt, and she thinks he’s only in town for the weekend. Turns out he has a haunted tour company in many cities, and is expanding to Boneyard, his research shows there are no ghost tours. He also has to put his business in the black by October, or his father pulls his funding of the company. Each are shocked when they find they cross paths with each other, and get into a shouting match that goes viral. They make a deal that whoever has done the best business by October gets to keep their tour, and the other will stop. As the days and weeks go by, the two grow close and soon have hot sex and develop feelings for each other, but things go downhill when he says he will have to go back to New York and work for his father. When he makes a grand gesture, will it be enough to save their relationship? This is a fun rom-com, with a small-town setting and ghosts. You root for these two to be together. A perfect end of the summer love story.
