It’s almost time for Maddie and Cole to get married and she hopes everything will go smoothly as the big day approaches, then she gets a call for her and Robo to help find a missing child, River Allen, the son of a famous actress, in the forests of Olympic National Park, in Washington State. She cannot turn this down and hopes that he will be found in time for her wedding. A team of people have all arrived on the scene, and Mattie and Robo fan out looking for River with no luck, but soon stumble over the remains of two other people. Cole soon joins the search, and then a shocking discovery is made, and Mattie and Robo are on the chase to find River and the person responsible for what’s been going on in the woods. Long-time readers get a happy payoff in this ninth novel of the series. I’ve been reading these books for quite a while now and they keep getting better and better.
