Daphne is engaged to Peter, who is best friends with Petra, who is dating Miles. Right before the wedding, Peter dumps Daphne for Petra, who dumps Miles. With no place to go, she moves in with Peter. When they both get invites to the upcoming wedding of their ex-spouses, they are drunk and RSVP they will go, and they will pretend to be a couple. While playing the part, they become close and might even fall for each other. We follow along with all this and get engaged in the story, that only author Emily Henry can write. I have a fan of hers and this is another well-written, fun novel to add to her collection.
